Thrift on Mill

The first MCC Thrift Shop was started in 1972 by a group of 4 women in Altona, Manitoba as a way to raise money for Mennonite Central Committee. The women expected their thrift project to only last 3-6 months. Little did they know that they were starting what would become a thrift movement, extending from Canada to the U.S.

We are grateful to be a part of the MCC Thrift Shop Network that not only provides quality second-hand items at reasonable prices to the people in our community, but that also supports the relief, development and peace work of MCC around the world.
